1 No Food safety person present at arrival of inspection. No person shall operate a food establishment that handles, prepares or serves non-prepackaged potentially hazardous food who does not have present and in the employ of the food establishment at all hours of operation at least one (1) person with a valid Food Establishment Personnel Food Safety Certificate issued by the Department.
8 Food residue observed in the handwash sink.
13 Food employee observed prepping raw chicken in the wash compartment of the 3-basin sink.
22 Time in lieu of temperature being used in the food facility to control ready to eat potentially hazardous foods without written procedures or documentation to verify disposition of food.
36 Visible physical evidence of rodent activity (Rat droppings) observed in the rear storage area. *Health sanitarian advised PIC to contact pest control.*
37 The following observations were noted: -Metal cans being used to store food after opening. -Food and boxed oils are not stored at least 6 inches above the floor. -Cardboard boxes that stored raw food being reused to store cooked food.

1 No food safety person present at arrival of inspection. Corrective action: Person in charge arrived prior to completion of inspection. No person shall operate a food establishment that handles, prepares or serves non-prepackaged potentially hazardous food who does not have present and in the employ of the food establishment at all hours of operation at least one (1) person with a valid Food Establishment Personnel Food Safety Certificate issued by the Department.
6 A food employee was observed washing their hands at the 3-basin sink rather than the designated handwash sink.
7 A food employee was observed touching ready to eat food with his bare hands.
8 The handwash sink in the food prep area was blocked by a trash can and 3 buckets and not accessible at all times for employee use.
20 Eggs held at 58 degrees F, rather than 45 degrees F or below as required. Corrective action: Person in charge discarded eggs during the time of inspection.
21 Opened commercially processed ready to eat food (Vegetables), located in the walk-in cooler area, and held more than 48 hours, was not marked with the date it was opened.
36 Rear screen opening in the food facility does not protect against the entry of insects, rodents, and other animals.

1 The Person in Charge did not demonstrate adequate knowledge of the Philadelphia Food Code. Corrective action: Health sanitarian provided PIC with employee health policy on 4/3/2024.
8 The following observations were noted: -Soap was not available at the handwash sink in the food prep area. -Paper towel dispenser empty at the handwash sink in the food prep area. Corrective action: Person in charge provided hand soap and paper towels during the time of inspection.
8 The handwash sink in the food prep area was blocked by containers and not accessible at all times for employee use. Corrective action: Person in charge removed containers from covering handwash sink during he time of inspection.
13 The following observations were noted: -Scooper observed submerged in working bulk container in rear storage area. -2 Single-use bowls submerged in working bulk containers in the rear storage area.
26 Observed rodenticides not labeled by the manufacturer for food facility usage, in the rear storage area. *Discontinue self pest control immediately and contact a licensed pest control.*
36 Visible physical evidence of rodent activity observed in the rear storage area and storage closet where water meter is. *Health sanitarian advised PIC to contact pest control.*
37 The following observations were noted: -Metal cans being used to store food after opening. -Food and boxed oils are not stored at least 6 inches above the floor.
