1 No Food safety person present during inspection. Owner arrived with a Philadelphia food safety certificate that expired Feb 2025.
No person shall operate a food establishment that handles, prepares or serves non-prepackaged potentially hazardous food who does not have present and in the employ of the food establishment at all hours of operation at least one (1) person with a valid Food Establishment Personnel Food Safety Certificate issued by the Department.
9 Food facility Person in Charge not able to provide documentation that Pastelitos are from an approved source.
*Discontinue selling of Pastelitos until an approved documentation is provided from the source.*
14 No sanitizer or sink stoppers observed.
Corrective action: PIC provided QAC tablets and sink stoppers during the time of inspection.
21 Opened commercially processed ready to eat food (Deli meat and cheeses), located in the Closed display case, and held more than 48 hours, was not marked with the date it was opened.
26 Observed multiple bags of rodenticides not labeled by the manufacturer for food facility usage, throughout the facility.
36 An insect control device (Fly swatter) located in warewashing area above the 3 basin sink with potential to contaminate food, equipment, and / or utensils.
