1 No person shall operate a food establishment that handles, prepares or serves non-prepackaged potentially hazardous food who does not have present and in the employ of the food establishment at all hours of operation at least one (1) person with a valid Food Establishment Personnel Food Safety Certificate issued by the Department. Person in-charge was instructed to apply for certificate as soon as possible.
45 Cutting boards observed with deep scratches and scoring not allowing for effective cleaning and sanitizing.
48 Hot water was observed at 82 Degrees Fahrenheit. Water temperature was raised to 120 degrees Fahrenheit at the end of inspection.

1 Certified person was not present at the start of inspection. They later arrived.

8 Facility was turning hot water on from the bottom due to a leak at the handwash sink. Sink to be serviced.
11 Expired baby food (March 2023) observed in the retail area. Baby food was removed from sale.
26 Observed insecticides (RAID and Hotshot) not labeled by the manufacturer for food facility usage, in the prep area. Cans were discarded.
37 Bag of potatoes were not stored at least 6 inches above the floor in the walk-in cooler. Potatoes were placed on the shelf.
45 Crates being used for elevation in the walk-in cooler and retail area and cardboard lining a bottom shelf in the retail area was not smooth and easily cleanable.
46 Food facility lacks sanitizer test strips to monitor sanitizer concentration.
46 Non-NSF approved dish drying rack was observed.
47 Observations:
- Ice accumulation in the retail reach-in freezer
- Food residue/debris observed in the walk-in cooler
- Plastic film observed in the scale/scanner. Film was removed.
51 Lidded can was not available in the restroom for the proper disposal of sanitary napkins.
53 General cleaning needed in the basement due to clutter observed.
53 Maintenance tools were not hung on a utility rack when not in use.
54 Lights in the retail and prep area were not shielded from breakage.
