1 No person shall operate a food establishment that handles, prepares or serves non-prepackaged potentially hazardous food who does not have present and in the employ of the food establishment at all hours of operation at least one (1) person with a valid Food Establishment Personnel Food Safety Certificate issued by the Department. **Food safety certified person was not present during the Sanitarian's arrival. Food safety certified person arrived at the end of the inspection.
6 No hot water available at the portable handwash sink in the toddler room. PIC filled the tank up with water, hot water is now available.
45 - NON-ANSI/NSF sanitation approved chest freezer was observed in the basement prep area. - Handle to toddler room observed in disrepair
45 Non-ANSI/NSF sanitation approved microwave oven observed in basement prep area
49 Mop/utility sink was not observed in the establishment.
51 - Door was observed removed from the children's toilet room - Rear toilet room door was observed not self-closing
54 Burnt light bulbs observed in toddler classroom and pre-school class room.

1 Certified person was not present at the start of inspection. They later arrived but had an expired certificate (July 11,2022). An exam was already scheduled. Completion of the exam and a Philadelphia certificate required for LER issuance. No person shall operate a food establishment that handles, prepares or serves non-prepackaged potentially hazardous food who does not have present and in the employ of the food establishment at all hours of operation at least one (1) person with a valid Food Establishment Personnel Food Safety Certificate issued by the Department.
8 Soap was not available at the handwash sink in the infant classroom. Soap was provided.
26 Observed insecticides (Hot Shot spray) not labeled by the manufacturer for food facility usage, in the classroom area. Can was removed from the premises.
45 -Domestic/non-ANSI certified chest freezer was observed in the basement kitchen area.
49 Mop/utility sink was not observed.
51 Door was removed from the children's restroom. Employee restroom door was not self-closing.
53 Ceiling in the basement prep area was not smooth and easily cleanable.
53 -Idle broom and dustpan observed in direct contact of floor surface instead of elevated on a utility rack when not in use.
54 -Cracked light fixture cover observed in the rear toilet area.
