45 -Unfinished wood (non smooth material) observed on shelves in the rear prep area.
-Observed wood pallets (non smooth material) use for elevation inside walk-in cooler an din the basement.
*Surfaces of equipment that are nonfood-contact surfaces, but are exposed to splash, spillage or other food soiling or that require frequent cleaning, shall be constructed of a corrosion-resistant, nonabsorbent and smooth material.
45 Observations:
-Non-commercial refrigerator/freezer "Amana", gas range/oven, and convection oven are not NSF or ANSI approved equipment.
-Domestic cabinets in the kitchen area.
-Water dripping from the walk-in cooler ventilation system.
47 -Observed water from condenser dripping on surfaces and residue on surfaces inside the walk-in cooler.
-Food stain observed in the handwashing sink in the bar area.

1 City of Philadelphia Manager food safety certificate was not observed in the facility at time of inspection; Observed class certificate only.
*Advised facility's food safety certified person to apply for the City of Philadelphia Food Manager Food Safety certificate.

**No person shall operate a food establishment that handles, prepares or serves non-prepackaged potentially hazardous food who does not have present and in the employ of the food establishment at all hours of operation at least one (1) person with a valid Food Establishment Personnel Food Safety Certificate issued by the Department.
1 The Person in Charge did not demonstrate adequate knowledge of the Philadelphia Food Code (use of sanitizer test strips).
The Sanitarian reviewed the proper method to use the sanitizer test strips with the person in charge.
6 Hands cannot be properly washed at handwashing sink in the bar area due to lack of hot water, which was measured at 65.3 degrees.
*Hot water temperature between 100 and 110 degrees Fahrenheit is required at all handwashing sinks.
8 No paper towel, soap and sign to remind food employees to wash their hands observed at the hand wash sink in the bar area.
Person in charge provided paper towels, soap and a handwash reminder sign during the inspection.
8 Hot water was not readily assessible at the bar area handwashing sink. The water provided was probed at 65.3 degrees Fahrenheit maximum.
*Water between 100 - 110 degrees Fahrenheit is required at all handwashing sinks.
21 An open bottle of orange juice located in the refrigerator box in the bar area, was not date marked with the date it was opened or should be discarded..
26 Observed insecticides (two boxes of Raid foggers) not labeled by the manufacturer for food facility usage, in a cabinet in the bar area.
Note: all pest control must be done by a licensed exterminator. All toxic pesticides must be removed from the facility.

Water between 110 and 130 degrees Fahrenheit is required at 3 compartment sinks and utility sinks.
51 A lidded can was not provided inside the women's toilet room for sanitary napkin disposal.
*A toilet room used by females shall be provided with a covered receptacle for sanitary napkins.

63 Person in Charge of premises has not posted the appropriate warning signs regarding the dangers of consuming alcoholic beverages during pregnancy.
The person in charge posted a sign during the inspection. The inspector also emailed a sample sign with this report.
