1 No Philadelphia food safety certification observed. Servsafe observed. Corrective action: Sanitarian emailed PIC application on 11/26/2024. No person shall operate a food establishment that handles, prepares or serves non-prepackaged potentially hazardous food who does not have present and in the employ of the food establishment at all hours of operation at least one (1) person with a valid Food Establishment Personnel Food Safety Certificate issued by the Department.
8 Handwash sink being used to wash fruits and vegetables instead of the designated food prep sink in the rear storage area. Corrective action: PIC was instructed to discontinue using the handwash sink and use the food prep sink in the rear storage area.
45 The following observations were noted: - Domestic non NSF ANSI dry rack observed in the warewash area. - Non NSF/ANSI chest freezer - Chest freezer lid not in good repair.
45 Soda crates being used for elevation.
45 Food prep sink is not properly sealed to the wall surface.
47 Debris and residue observed on internal surfaces of chest freezer.
51 Trash can with a lid not observed.
53 The following observations were noted: -Water stained ceiling surfaces in the retail and rear storage areas. -Damaged floor tiles throughout.
53 Catch basin in need of cleaning in the basement area.

11 Severely dented, swollen, distressed canned items observed on the shelves in retail area. The person in charge removed all damaged cans at time of inspection
39 Moist wiping cloths observed lying on the counter and not stored in sanitizing solution.
45 - Domestic non NSF ANSI dry rack observed in the warewash area. - Broken cold prep refrigerator and chest freezer observed in the kitchen, and the basement area.
53 Cracked floor tiles observed throughout the facility.
